Join Outdoor Recreation in promoting boat safety through the month of May. Snap a pic wearing your lifejacket on Friday, May 15th or stop by ODR and borrow one of ours. Participants will recieve a coupon good for $25 off any rentals of $100 or more valid through the summer season.

What is the Falcon 5k Run?

The Falcon 5K Run is an annual event that honors our military and commemorates Health & Wellness month. Furthermore, it encourages Airmen to improve their personal fitness and mental health through running or walking. This year the event will take place during the May UTA. It’s a family-friendly activity where participants can run or walk a 5-kilometer (5K) distance.

You are encouraged people to wear appropriate fitness gear or costumes (keep it PG), to add a fun and festive element to the run. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for some outdoor exercise, the Falcon 5K Run provides an opportunity to enjoy physical activity with others.

So lace up your running shoes, gather your family, and join in the excitement of the Falcon 5K Run!

When is the Falcon 5k Run?

The 8th annual Falcon 5K Run will take place during the May UTA.

  • Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 0800 to 0900
  • Location: Dobbins Flightline
  • Virtual: Participation through Strava

How do I Register?

Here are the registration details:

  • Early Bird Registration (prior to April 15): The registration fee is $25.
  • Late Registration (after April 15): The registration fee increases to $30.
