    A Memorable and Magical Day

    Celebrate and connect with fellow military families in an unforgettable experience. Department of Defense ID cardholders from all branches of service, including DoD civilians, are invited to join the Dobbins ARB community and help us turn a day of fun into tons of memories. Details are as follows:

    Renaissance Theme

    During the festival, you will take a step into a 16th Century English Village with a modern twist. Meet King Henry, and watch an epic sword fight as we bring history to life. Interact with renaissance characters and immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the era. Don’t miss the chance to showcase your own creativity in our costume contest.

    Live Music & Carnival

    Enjoy a day of entertainment with live music and carnival fun! we will have a DJ and live and performing throughout the day. Test your aim at the shooting gallery and win exiting prizes Hop aboard the trackless train or enjoy the bumper cars with family and friends.

    Hangar 731

    Head to Hanger 731 to watch live college football on the big screen. The area will be buzzing with bounce houses for the kids, and a variety of vendors, and the helping agencies. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy the game, have fun and explore everything Family Day has to offer.

    Cars & Planes

    Marvel at a stunning collection of classic and modern vehicles at our car show. Aviation lovers you don’t want to miss the incredible display of aircrafts, including a C-17 and A-10. Its a rare opportunity to see these impressive machines up close and learn about their history and capabilities.

    Food

    Several food options will be available. Indulge in a delicious, culinary adventure as you enjoy Firefest BBQ, sign-up to be a grill master, and sip and savor bourbon. Grill masters will compete and serve up their best renditions of barbeque, for a prize.

    Also satisfy your sweet tooth or curious palate at one of several desert and savory food trucks.

    Don’t forget to RSVP

    Based on past event participation, we are expecting about 3,500 people to partake in the festivities. Each participant will receive one free meal during the event. So, we ask that everyone RSVP here to ensure we have enough food for everyone. We look forward to taking a captivating journey back in time to a 16th Century English Village with you.
